Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is a horror survival game developed by Scott Cawthon. It is the second installment in the FNaF series and serves as a prequel to the first game. Players take on the role of a night security guard at a haunted children's restaurant called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. The goal is to survive five (or more) nights from 12 AM to 6 AM, while being hunted by malfunctioning and aggressive animatronic characters.

Unlike the first game, FNaF 2 introduces a larger cast of animatronics — both new and old — and removes the use of doors for protection. Instead, players must rely on a limited flashlight, security cameras, and a Freddy Fazbear mask to survive.
